The finale is here and Episode 5 – Cry Wolf picks up right where Episode 4 – In Sheep’s Clothing left of.
Episode 4 left us on a cliffhanger where Bigby confronts the Crooked Man and his crew. Unlike the other episodes, I have noticed that episode 5 has a lot more focus with the action instead of just picking what you want Bigby to say. I did find that it got a little tricky as times as everything seemed fast passed with a lot going on. Your main focus in Episode 5 is to get the Crooked Man and take him back to Snow for a hearing of all the crimes that he committed but the Crooked Man’s crew for sure didn’t make it an easy job.
Thinking back to the other episodes, the choices that you made have some importance in this finale. For example in Episode 3, you get the option to burn Greenleaf’s magical tree, depending on the choice that you made will certainly affect the story in Episode 5, even if it’s something that doesn’t seem so important.
Of course, as we expected, we made another encounter with Bloody Mary and for me, it was one of the most exciting parts of this episode. Bloody Mary is by far my favorite antagonists of this game. When we encounter her, we see her transform into a somewhat terrifying form bur that’s not all that makes it exciting. We also see Bigby transform into something we haven’t yet seen in the game before. Bigby himself turns into the big bad wolf and becomes a fully fledged wolf.
Although the game has ended, I would love to see Telltale do a sequel for The Wolf Among Us. I personally loved the game and will definitely be playing through it again choosing different options.
